  This is not a federal employee friendly hotel. They want you to sign a contract when staying on business to ensure your not getting a federal rate for personal use. So far I have made 20 rooms from my office bookings go to the Four Points by Sheraton which I personally find better and cheaper.

  Everything brand new. Staff very polite and ready to help anytime. Rooms very clean. Spacious underground parking. Convenient location nearby everything you can imagine.

  Good food. Great selection of beers. New restaurant perfectly described as a tap house with over 40 beers on tap. Brought our 1 and 1/2 year old and they were very accommodating would definitely return

  The hotel was easy to find, a moderate drive from downtown Victoria, and 5 minutes drive from the Hatley Castle. The rooms were very clean and organized, was surprised that it looked really new so I asked the front desk clerk and she said this hotel opened in November of 2015. Really nice rooms! Service was exceptional, 2.5 star hotel, 5 star service! Only minor downside was the single and very slow elevator that I and other hotel patrons found was a nuisance, but the security feature in the elevator was neat. Would definitely stay here again if I am in the area!

  HIE Colwood is excellent! Great staff and are very helpful. Rooms seems to be fairly new and modern. I dig the style but a bit stark. Could use s picture frame or something that conveys the local area theme. Love the sofa bed! The shower, like most environment friendly hotels have weak shower pressure. Not an issue but would be nice to have a decent water pressure. Keurig coffee pods are great and appreciated. HIE Colwood hits all the marks.

  Only thing to improve is breakfast: structure is not enough to keep up with demand of a typical long weekend. Elevator is small to: long waits (as long as 10 minutes) when hotel is near capacity.
